You probably had nightmares last night and woke up edgy. You really want to capture some of this angst for your writing, but may find it difficult. Today, be satisfied with writing notes to yourself about interesting things to write at a later date. These ideas you are getting are extremely ‘outside the box’. Don’t even try to write completed prose today. Just grab those ideas any way you can, , even by voice recording, then write them later. Some of these ideas will be ‘over the top’, but others could rejuvenate your work. Grab ’em now. Decide later.

It will be a little frustrating this morning. You have new ideas, but can’t write them down. You are being forced to deal with structural issues, or maybe your computer is giving you trouble. The best thing to do is to deal with the systemic details even if it means doing it on paper. Later in the afternoon, the Moon moves into Leo, and you start to have confidence again that you can actually get this project done. Venus trine Uranus relieves the annoying technical problems, and you can finally get some forward momentum.

The Moon makes a new grand trine today that allows you to perfect those emotional scenes you wrote yesterday. You’ll be able to get the emotional tone of your characters just right today. You’ll see what makes your characters tick. They may even surprise you and show you connections you never thought of. With Mercury in Virgo trine Pluto, you can be coldly objective as you write your characters into huge life upheavals. Don’t be timid with angry scenes or scenes that are uncomfortable to write. Go boldly into the dark places. You’ll have your readers on the edge of their seats!

The Moon enters Cancer today, its home sign. This gives an innocent, playful ability to access your characters’ feelings. These are not the deep, reflective feelings so much as the surface, reactive feelings. This is the infatuation, not the enduring love. It is the immediate tantrum, not the long held grudge. Moon in Cancer nurtures, but, unlike Virgo, she may give you cupcakes instead of healthy granola. After noon, though, a grand water trine with Neptune and Ceres allows you to access these deeper feelings and write some powerful, emotional scenes.

History writers will be able to bring their research into their writing in a believable way today. Any writing concerning the past will sound realistic and authentic, even if it’s fantasy fiction. Jupiter has been conjuncting Venus in Leo, so pleasant words have been coming easily. The structural issues have been a concern, though. You may write a lot of words this morning, but those words may not make a whole lot of sense. Something is interfering with the muse.
